Good News: The organizing committee has announced ICSIP 2026 in Changzhou (中国 常州) during July 17-19, 2026.

Special Session 6: Advanced Multimodal Signal Processing for Environmental Perception and Communication

This special session aims to bring together cutting-edge research on multimodal signal processing techniques that integrate radar, sonar, optical, and acoustic sensing for environmental monitoring, communication, and remote sensing. With the growing complexity of real-world applications, there is an urgent need for robust and intelligent systems capable of fusing heterogeneous data sources to achieve higher accuracy and reliability. This session will highlight innovations in signal/image processing, machine learning-driven fusion methods, and novel computational models that enhance perceptual capabilities in challenging environments. Contributions are expected to address both theoretical advances and practical implementations, providing insights into future directions for multimodal sensing systems.
